Lost In The World

What is the general premise of the video? - The general premise of the video is that people today are just worried about having a good post for their social media. Nobody cares about anything else anymore. Everyone takes photos of everything on their phones and things just blow up so everyone sees it. Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message? - Yes, because it shows how everyone is addicted to their phones and doesn't care about anything else thats happening in the world.  Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why? - I think it's both a warning and an examination because it is warning us that bad things will happen if all we do is care about social media and our phones. In the video it showed a lady committing suicide and everyone falling off the cliff at the end, so it is warning us that something like that can happen to us if all we worry about is posts on social med...

Art Generators

Image
This is Sand I really liked this art generator because it was fun to play with the sand and make different creations with it. It was cool how it turned out and I like the finished product. It was hard to make different shapes with the sand, that's one thing I did not like. Coloring I liked this generator because I liked being able to color it like i would in a coloring book. It was fun to use all the different colors and do my own style. One thing I did not like was that this was like a children's coloring book and it looks like something a kid would make. Viscosity I liked this generator because I like how it started with a piece and then I got to change it up in my own way. It was cool how the different styles changed it up in different ways. The thing I did not like was how I couldn't change the shape in the beginning. Random Art: make your own I thought this generator was cool and it made some cool designs, but I would've liked to d...

A) What trend was the article highlighting? - The article was highlighting that colleges research what you post on social media before accepting you. The article states that 31% had visited applicant's social medias. B) Do you think this trend will continue?   Why? - Yes, because colleges know that some students have a past and they want to check that to make sure they are good kids before accepting them. C) Explain how the behavior outlined in the article could affect a student’s future education and employment opportunities. - The behavior in the article could affect a student's future because if that student has something bad on their social media or even from their past, anyone can research and find those things that will make them look bad.

Victorian Design

1) What was the biggest challenge in interpreting your design from Mid Century to a Victorian Style? - The biggest challenge was making the image I originally made mid century to look victorian. It was hard to change that style into victorian because if I didn't make the victorian design a poster, then it would not have looked victorian. 2) Describe the difference(s) between the 2 styles. - The differences between the 2 styles is that the mid century is just an image of the city, while the victorian design is an old poster about the city. 3) If you were to do this project over, what would you do differently? - I would do this project differently by adding in people to show more of the mid century and victorian looks.
